starting my blog and becoming part of the Jordan planet community has definitely been one of the major highlights of the year for me too :) and your one of the people who have made this experience rich and interesting, thanks!

Reading your bloggs enriched me too. You seem to be so genuine and sincere in your writing, I love the blog about the trip with your mom to the down town, it seems so original & succinct.

I love your entry about the guy with pigeons, as a child growing up in Amman I used to breed pigeons myself in the same manner that the guy explained to you. I liked your blog about driving around with the window lowered, though I must caution you to stay vigilant.

Finally, I like your commentary when you said that no one stated that s/he joined Jordan Planet to be part of the community, I have a news for you, I, for one, joined for the sole purpose of being part of this community.

Prior to Joining Jordan Planet I was part of Mahjoob community for about 2.5 years, and prior to that I was part of Jordan net for about 3 years, and prior to that I was part of Jordan Netserrs for about 2 years, and part of free Palestine, Al-Awda, Arab Writers association, and few others that I can't recall their names.

Yes, being part of the community represent an essential part of my life, I have met a number of very sophisticated people through this medium of communication.

Thank you very much for your kind words Hatem :)

I always feel I missed out on the Mahjoub forums, because it seems that many JP bloggers were part of them before. Jordan Planet is my first online community experience, and like you, it has given me the chance to meet some amazing, inspiring, and interesting people, and it has enriched my life in more ways than one.

No plans of coming to Jordan for a visit?? It has become customary to organize a bloggers meet-up everytime a Jordanian expat is in Amman :)

I'm curious--what are your goals for 2006?

I read somewhere that Bird Flu is expected to arrive in the USA or Canada this fall.
It said it killed almost 60% of those who got infected.
Is it true ?
What can we do to avoid it ?
